HUDSON, Ohio – A pair of virtual events featuring food-focused authors Paco Underhill and Nigella Lawson will be presented via Hudson Library this month.
First, an evening with New York Times bestselling author Paco Underhill, author of “How we eat: the best of the worlds of food and drink”, is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13.
Underhill shows how food cuts across hot topics today – political, environmental, economic and racial. In what’s billed as hopeful and witty, “How We Eat” discusses the future of food – from growth to creative markets and more.
Then, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, an evening with food writer and television chef Nigella Lawson will be presented.
Lawson will talk about his latest cookbook, “Cook, Eat, Repeat: Ingredients, Recipes and Stories” via the virtual live streaming event.
“Cook, Eat, Repeat” combines recipes with narrative food essays.
Copies of Underhill’s and Lawson’s books will be available for purchase at Bookstore of the learned owl, 204 N. Main St., Hudson. Registration for the programs is compulsory. Participants will receive an email to participate one day prior to the Zoom program.
