Channing Tatum and Kevin Jonas are both children’s book authors

Sometimes life comes to you quickly. Today, the day that Channing Tatum and Kevin Jonas both separately announced that they’ve written children’s books within hours of each other, is one of those moments.

Tatum, 41, and Jonas, 33, have made fatherhood a notable part of their public – and, of course, private life. So, it shouldn’t be too surprising that they both got separate book contracts for picture books inspired by their daughters. (But sometimes even what surprises you can be surprising.)

Jonas, who is currently on tour with his brothers, co-wrote the picture book with his wife Danielle, an aptly titled tale There’s a rock concert in my room on “music, family and facing your fears” which is inspired by their children Alena, 7, and Valentina, 4.

On the other hand, Tatum’s book, The one and only Sparkella makes a plan, is actually the sequel (?!) of a first book he wrote during his forties for his eight-year-old daughter Everly, which he shares with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan. The saga follows its brave heroine, Sparkerella, through the trials and tribulations of childhood, learning to adapt and persevere along the way.

Honestly, quite heartwarming all around! Both books are slated for release in the spring of 2022.
