If you still don’t think CM Punk is done with the fans, check out this new stat courtesy of Pro Wrestling Tees.
It was revealed that CM Punk broke the record for most T-shirts sold in 24 hours. The former record holder was Brodie Lee tied with Sting.
The shirt was originally sold in a “ringer style” with black cuffs and a black neckline, but was completely cleared from stock. This shirt was available for $ 29.99. The new version of the shirt currently on sale is $ 24.99 and does not have the black cuff / neckline style, but is simply all white. Pro Wrestling Tees said, “Rather than putting the product completely out of stock, we are now bringing it to you on a white t-shirt in many different styles. Ringer T-shirts will still be available at AEW Live Events while supplies last. “
The website crashed within 5 minutes of the shirt being listed for sale and went in and out for the next 15 hours as people continued to try to access the site. The site revealed that they need to change servers completely in order to prevent this from happening again in the future.
