Dare County Library to host adult book clubs starting in September

The Manteo and Kill Devil Hills branches of the Dare County Library have announced the introduction of two adult book clubs that will begin meeting in September 2022.

The Dare County Library has long recognized the need for more community activities to serve its adult patrons, and the demand for a library-hosted book club has been particularly overwhelming. Customer surveys provided insight into the best times and days of the week to hold a book club, as well as the types of books customers would like to read and the structure they prefer.

Information meetings will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in the Kill Devil Hills Library meeting room, as well as at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the Manteo Library meeting room. Although registration is not required to attend events, RSVPs are encouraged. To RSVP for a meeting, please Click here. Attendance at these information meetings is not mandatory to join the book clubs.
