Dare County Library to Host Book Clubs Beginning in September

Posted 7:20 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2022

The Manteo and Kill Devil Hills branches of the Dare County Library announced the introduction of two adult book clubs that will begin meeting in September.

“The Dare County Library has long recognized the need for more community activities to serve its adult patrons, and the demand for a library-hosted book club has been particularly overwhelming,” a statement from Dare County Press. “Customer surveys provided insight into the best times and days of the week to hold a book club, as well as the types of books customers would like to read and the structure they prefer.”

Information meetings will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in the Kill Devil Hills Library meeting room, as well as at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in the Manteo Library meeting room. Although registration is not required to attend events, RSVPs are encouraged. To RSVP for a reunion, go to bit.ly/3dEtgfe. Attendance at these information meetings is not mandatory to join the book clubs.
