Jesy recently revealed that she left Little Mix after ten years of feeling “trapped”.
The pop star has explained how the “constant comparison” of being part of one of Britain’s most successful girl groups has taken its toll on her mental health.
Speaking on the latest episode of Reign With Josh Smith, Jesy, who has now embarked on a solo career, told presenter and reporter Josh how it’s the little things that left her trapped.
“When it came to little things like we had to make a video and everyone had to wear bikinis and I didn’t want to wear a bikini because I felt like shit I couldn’t not “, she explained.
“It’s just the little things like that that would make me feel trapped.” And it was just the constant comparison every day that was difficult and ultimately after 10 years has a huge impact on your mental health.
