The county first teamed up with the GLC in the 2004/05 season and said it aimed to “celebrate the city’s unique heritage and culture” with an updated version of the jersey.
The club had teased the new jersey earlier in the week with a tweet, and it will certainly be a hit with county fans and Newportonians.
Featuring a two-tone heirloom check pattern with interlocking GLC logos, this t-shirt is sure to be a collector’s favorite.
The design is predominantly sesame and consists of a checkered pattern consisting of red and black lines on the front of the shirt. The club crest has also been changed to a special blackened edition to blend in with the rest of the shirt.
