“Simon was this bombshell of a one-season antagonist, to reform and find his true personality thanks to Daphne,” he said. “I think one of the bravest things in the romance genre is to give people a happy ending.”
“My friends and I used to joke that you didn’t see a black man on horseback,” he says.
There has been a lot of speculation that Page could become the first James Bond played by a black actor. He jokingly refers to it as the “B word”.
“I can’t talk about the B word, because I have nothing to say about the B word,” he says. “I can’t talk about the jobs I don’t do, because I don’t do them, [but] I am very happy with the work I am doing. “
Page is handling upcoming roles in the films “Dungeons & Dragons” and “The Gray Man”.
And he found some sort of mentor in “This Is Us” star Sterling K. Brown, who Page met during the 2016 Emmy Awards season.
Brown was impressed.
“It wasn’t someone who said, ‘Give me a few years and I’ll make $ 10 million a movie,’” Brown said of Page. “He really enjoys the art of illuminating the human condition.”
