Community Art Project: Tile a Mosaic Storywalk: 5:30 p.m. on June 21, West branch backyard, registration required. We are very happy to invite you to be part of a community art project in collaboration with the Beautiful Stuff Project! Help create a colorful Storywalk mosaic written and illustrated by members of the West Branch Library Children’s Book Club! Gardening workshop with Green City Growers: 3 p.m. June 25, lawn of the central library. Join us for a live, in-person gardening workshop with our farmer Dani from Green City Growers.
In today’s workshop, we’ll check out the celery, eggplant, tomatoes, and squash we planted on June 4th and harvest what’s ready to eat. Come and discover it and bring home fresh produce.

Sequestered Story Time with Jef Czekaj: 10 am June 26, Facebook Live and YouTube channel. Local author and illustrator Jef Czekaj is trapped at home like the rest of us, so he created Sequestered Storytimes to share with us.
Free tutoring for citizenship class: By appointment on Zoom (with invitation). This tutoring session prepares students for all parts of their citizenship test. It will cover the literacy test, 100 questions about US history and government, and provide assistance to improve English speaking and listening skills. The requirements are a basic level of English and a permanent resident for five years, or three years, if you are married to a US citizen.

Book a phone or Zoom meeting with a librarian to learn useful things like setting up home delivery for groceries using online meeting platforms, such as Zoom or Google Meet; use social media platforms, such as Facebook or Twitter; complete a job application or benefit claims online, using Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel); setting up an email account and more.
