TEWKSBURY TWP. – Two local authors will autograph their latest children’s books on dogs from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 27 at the CB Pet Market at 79 Walmart Plaza in Clinton and from 11 a.m. to noon on Sunday, November 28 at CB pet market at 412 Route 206 North in Bedminster.

Tewksbury authors Marin Resnick and Loren Spiotta-DiMare will visit the Clinton and Bedminster CB Pet Market stores for a book reading and signing.

Participants can inspire their child’s love for reading with books on adorable dogs and their adventures.

The “Oh Mae!” by Resnick, and “Bowser’s Back!” by Spiotta-DiMare, are based on true stories that will fill the whole family with laughter and love.

“Oh Maé! Follows Mae’s adventures from her early days as a pound dog to becoming Marie’s best friend, a big sister to Ruth, an escape artist and Christmas turkey thief.

“Bowser’s back!” Tells the story of a Basset Hound named Bowser, the actual official mascot of Old Farmers Road Elementary School in Long Valley.

The book is based on true stories that reflect the friendship and love that an adventurous puppy named Bowser has brought to the Long Valley community.

Readings take place during the annual CB Pet Market Customer Appreciation Weekend. Buyers can get 25% off pet toys and treats, dollar trash cans, exclusive pet promotions, double points on purchases, and more.
